We repeated a breeding for Powder to our herdsire Sunny and she is behavior testing pregnant for a September 2021 cria. Powder delivered a healthy and large male cria in September 2021 who sold with her . June 18' Update! We welcomed a beautiful male named "Ninja" from Powder, her first cria sired by Matrix's Sunrise aka "Sunny." Born at 19 pounds he is another big boy and is growing fast! 2018 EPD STATS: Top 3% for % Medullation and top 10% for %F >30 micron and top 15% for MC. Powder is a quality, white female with brilliant white fiber and a large, well-balanced frame. She has always birthed easily and is a great mom to her cria. On top of that, she has bundles and bundles of exceptionally dense and crimpy merino style fleece. Judges comments at her recent past fleece shows were "excellent fineness & uniformity" and "fine and SO bright!!" A full evaluation in 2011 by AOBA judge and fiber expert Wade Gease reaffirmed that she shows a strong overall phenotype, strong density, and "high potential" to be a valued production gal. Powder is the spitting image of her older, half-sister Aussie Hill's Armonia (a Snowmass Invincible daughter.) They share the same amazing dam, "PNA Poseidons Princessa," a half-Accoyo, full Peruvian girl who took 2nd at AOBA Nationals in halter, 2006. Powder's sire is none other than the late "Aussie Hill's Imagine", a MFI Jericho son who earned 8 blue ribbons and 2 banners during his show career and sired many incredible, show-winning offspring. We are proud to have the stellar genetics of this late champion here at Blooming Field Farm. Imagine's dam is MFI Candy Corn, a Chilean girl who maintained lingering fineness with an AFD of 19 at 12 years of age! She has also produced some incredibly successful and show worthy offspring.
